I’ve known many people who have travelled to London and loved it. I however, did not get the chance. Although we went on a trip to England, Scotland, and Wales, the only days actually spent in London were travel days. So the only sites we saw were sandwiched between flights. We were able to squeeze in a couple hours of basic sightseeing, but we barely scratched the surface. Have no fear though, I used that precious amount of time to visit Platform 9 3/4 at King’s Cross Station. Because my priorities are 100% in check.
Pro-Tip: If you’re booking a tour and you know you’re going to want to explore more on your own, stay an extra couple days before heading back home.
