Granada, Spain

I’ve been genetically blessed with migraines since 3rd grade. And while I’ve grown accustomed to it, it’s certainly not welcome on vacations. Unfortunately, certain triggers are unavoidable while traveling (loud noises, bright lights, lack of sleep, etc.). And it’s also fairly difficult to allow yourself the time to rest and recuperate. Such was the case in Granada, Spain. So instead of enjoying the spectacular views of La Alhambra, I was trying to find relief in the tiniest corner with shade, praying for the distorted vision to abate.

Pro-tip: I’ve found that taking short naps when I can (usually while on a bus) and mainlining Advil is the only way to get through these ordeals.
