Hill frolicking can work up a healthy appetite. And while adventures can be food for the soul, it is important to remember to stop and feed your body as well. Normally, in Italy, this would not be an issue. Unfortunately, sometimes tours have pre-planned meals and they aren’t always friendly to those with dietary restrictions. So while my soul was plenty fed from these beautiful views, my stomach was less so. Was it still worth it? Absolutely.
Pro-tip: Carry around portable non-perishable snacks just in case you can’t find something to eat. (I’ve mentioned this tip before, it is a game changer.)
