Hohenschwangau, Germany

I will do just about anything for a view. Ignore a fear of heights, pay for an overpriced ticket, and even brave a crowd. But everyone has their limits, and Neuschwanstein Castle was mine. Packed in like sardines, we shuffled through this 19th century palace amidst hordes of loud, germ-ridden tourists. By the time we got to this incredible view, I couldn’t even enjoy it. I wanted to get as far away from other humans as possible. Looking back at it though, this view was totally worth the hassle.

Pro-Tip: If you have difficulty handling crowds, try visiting places during off-peak hours. Or just stay in your house and look it up on Google.
