Switzerland is renowned for its breathtaking scenery. And the views were spectacular….to a point. A literal point. Heading up the Stanserhorn in a cable car, there were green pastures and rolling hills as far as the eye could see. But as soon as we reached the summit, everything went white. Apparently the clouds were in full force that day and the entire peak of the mountain was enveloped by a cloud. And although that was a novelty within itself, it was a huge bummer to have guides tell us what we were missing, how unlucky we were, and to go to the gift shop to find postcards depicting what the scene should actually look like.
Pro-Tip: Take as many photos as possible and enjoy the scenery while the view lasts…life is full of all sorts of fun weather surprises.
