There’s something really beautiful about a town that’s closed on Sundays. You get to roam the empty streets, take in the quietness, and really get a feel for the architecture. But that magic fades pretty quickly and then you wind up bored and stuck in that town for 2 hours while your tour tells you to shop for souvenirs in shops that are closed for the day.
Pro-tip: Stick to touring larger cities on Sundays. The smaller towns tend to have closed businesses and there isn’t much else to do.
