Sure, Bruges was gorgeous. It also happened to be very cold and rainy the majority of time I was there. And I, like an idiot, decided to wear a sundress and flip flops that day. Wound up on a walking tour turned boat tour so the rain water was not only coming down, but it was also dripping from our overlapping umbrellas and splashing upwards from the river we were boating in. I spent the entire time dreaming of my warm, dry hotel room.
Pro-tip: Wear layers. Or you know, just stay indoors. Whichever.
